Pakistan Mahakumbh: Due to visa issues for Hindus from Pakistan, they are unable to travel to India, but they have organized their own Maha Kumbh. A special kund has been prepared for Hindus here, where they can take a holy dip in the Ganga.

The Mahakumbh Mela is currently underway in Prayagraj, India, and it is considered the largest religious gathering in the world. Millions of people come to take a dip in the Sangam. Not only Indians but also devotees and tourists from other countries come to participate in the Mahakumbh Mela. However, there is one country whose citizens are unable to attend due to visa issues. We are talking about the Hindus living in Pakistan, who are unable to join the Mahakumbh Mela because of visa-related reasons.
For this very reason, Hindus in Pakistan have organized their own separate Maha Kumbh, where they are showing their faith by bathing in the Ganges water. Let me explain further how this festival is being celebrated here.
A kund (tank) has been prepared in Pakistan with water from the Ganga River mixed with normal water. Devotees are standing in it and taking a bath. The priests pour water over them, allowing them to experience a Ganga bath.

After the bath, arrangements were made for prasad for the devotees. A porridge and khichdi were prepared and distributed as prasad to all. During the religious rituals, devotees also took the blessings of their guru. In this smaller-scale Kumbh, the enthusiasm of the devotees is clearly visible. While bathing, one devotee mentioned that although they couldn’t go to Prayagraj, taking a bath with Gangajal made them feel as though they were there.
A new tradition has emerged. This initiative by the Hindu community in Pakistan reflects their faith and belief. Everyone who has witnessed this event in Pakistan says that the Mahakumbh transcends religious and devotional boundaries. If you can’t go to Prayagraj, the Hindus here have created their own Mahakumbh.
