Masodkala, Betul – A young tribal girl from Masodkala village in Betul district has been missing for the past 23 days, causing immense anxiety and heartbreak for her family. Despite continuous efforts, the girl has not been found since she went missing on 16th March 2025.
Her family, shattered and desperate, reached out to several leaders and social organizations for help. On 8th April 2025, a delegation of tribal leaders including members of the Akhil Bharatiya Gondwana Samaj, Janjati Suraksha Manch, and Adivasi Ekta Parishad, submitted a memorandum to the District Minister In-charge and Panchayat Secretary Shivraj Waghmare. The memorandum was handed over at the Betul collectorate, demanding swift police action and intervention from higher authorities.

The delegation has demanded an immediate high-level investigation and quick action by the local police to trace the missing girl. The girl’s safety is the family’s utmost concern, and the lack of any concrete update so far is deeply disturbing.
This case highlights the increasing vulnerability of tribal communities and raises serious questions about women’s safety in rural Madhya Pradesh.
