Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that the BJP has a tradition of taking elections seriously. The BJP’s manifesto is a list of promises and actions that will be carried out. He mentioned that a new tradition in politics began after Narendra Modi’s arrival. He emphasized that in every state, the BJP has fulfilled its promises.
Amit Shah criticized Arvind Kejriwal, saying that while others fulfill their promises, Kejriwal does not. He claimed that Kejriwal makes promises but fails to deliver on them, and then returns with a pile of lies. He added that in his life, he has never encountered anyone who lies with such determination.
Amit Shah on Kejriwal:
He promised not to take a bungalow, yet he took one. He turned it into a palace. During Anna’s movement, he spoke about simplicity, but now he has built a bungalow worth crores. He promised to close liquor shops near public places but ended up opening them near temples and gurdwaras. There has been a scam worth crores, and for the first time, the education minister has been involved in a scam.
The central government, neighboring states, municipal corporations, and NDMC will be used as an excuse by the BJP to complete its plans. They promise a corruption-free state government. Kejriwal talks about full statehood to cover up his failures.
Earlier, the BJP had announced two attractive parts of their manifesto for the people of Delhi, promising to implement several major schemes after winning the election.
