ICC ODI Rankings 2025: Rohit Sharma Climbs to Third, Shubman Gill Stays on Top
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest ODI rankings after the Champions Trophy final. Indian captain Rohit Sharma has made a significant jump, moving from fifth to third place after his match-winning 76-run knock in the final. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill continues to dominate the rankings, holding the top spot with 784 rating points.

Virat Kohli Drops to Fifth Position
Virat Kohli, who managed just 1 run off 2 balls in the Champions Trophy final, has slipped one position down to fifth place with 736 rating points. Pakistan’s Babar Azam remains in second place with 770 points.
Kuldeep Yadav & Ravindra Jadeja Make Big Gains
Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has made a big leap in the latest rankings. He has moved up three places to third, now holding 650 rating points. Ravindra Jadeja has also entered the top 10 bowlers, jumping from 13th to 10th place with 616 points.
Varun Chakravarthy’s Impressive Rise
Mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy, who had an outstanding Champions Trophy campaign, has seen a massive rise in the rankings. He moved 16 places up, now securing the 80th position.
