Donald Trump News: After four years, the man who caused America immense pain in Afghanistan has finally been found. The U.S. has taken custody of the terrorist responsible for the 2021 Kabul bombing. Former President Donald Trump himself announced this.

On Tuesday night (local time), Trump addressed the U.S. Congress and made a statement that will serve as a balm for American wounds. He declared that the terrorist responsible for the Kabul airport bombing had been captured and was being brought to the United States. This raises the question: Why did Donald Trump thank Pakistan?
Why Did Trump Thank Pakistan?
Former U.S. President Donald Trump thanked Pakistan for assisting in the capture of the terrorist responsible for the Abbey Gate bombing, which took place during the American military withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021. Trump stated that America once again stands firmly against radical Islamic terrorism.
He also paid tribute to the 13 American service members who lost their lives in the suicide bombing at Kabul airport. Additionally, he criticized the Biden administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, calling it disastrous, incompetent, and even the most shameful moment in American history.
What Did Trump Say?
Addressing Congress, Trump said, “Tonight, I am pleased to announce that we have captured the top terrorist responsible for this atrocity. He is now coming here to face the full force of American justice. For this, I want to thank the government of Pakistan.”
He also spoke about the Middle East and the Abraham Accords. However, Trump did not disclose the name of the captured terrorist.
Kash Patel Confirms Extradition
Shortly after Trump’s announcement, FBI Chief Kash Patel also made a statement. He posted on X (formerly Twitter), “As President Trump just announced, I can confirm that tonight, the FBI, DOJ, and CIA have extradited one of the terrorists responsible for the Abbey Gate attack, which killed 13 American soldiers during the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.”
Meanwhile, CNN, citing a White House official, reported that the suspected terrorist’s name is Mohammad Sharifullah and that he is being extradited to the United States.
