TCS Manager Manav Sharma’s Wife Nikita Sharma’s Video Goes Viral on Social Media
A video of Nikita Sharma, the wife of TCS manager Manav Sharma, who died by suicide due to alleged harassment by his wife, is rapidly going viral on social media. The viral video is said to have been recorded before Manav Sharma’s suicide. In the video, Nikita Sharma admits her mistakes and confesses to being in a relationship with someone before marriage. She also makes serious allegations against her maternal uncle.
The video shows Nikita Sharma acknowledging her wrongdoings. She states, “What I did was wrong. I also had sex with Abhishek. I had told Manav about Abhishek before our marriage, but I never mentioned the sexual relationship. I revealed it only after marriage when he repeatedly asked me because I was afraid of losing him.”

She further says, “After Manav came into my life, I cut off contact with everyone. Even my maternal uncle forced himself on me, which was wrong. I know I made a lot of mistakes. I lied to Manav and hid things from him, but only because I didn’t want our marriage to break. Despite everything, Manav never raised his hand on me. I love him a lot. I accept any punishment for my mistakes because, yes, I made a big mistake by not telling him even after he repeatedly asked. But it was my past. Since being with Manav, I haven’t looked at any other man, nor do I want anyone else in my life.”
She continues, “Now, I have told Manav everything about my life. I deeply regret my mistakes and am ready to do whatever is necessary. When our marriage was being arranged, Manav’s father never asked for dowry, nor did they make any demands. They are all very good people—only I am not good. And if anything happens to me, if I die by suicide or anything else happens, no one will be responsible. Whatever I do will be my own decision. I am sorry, Manav. I was wrong.”

What Is the Full Case?
In Agra’s Defense Colony, Sadar, retired Air Force personnel Narendra Kumar Sharma got his only son, Manav Sharma, married to Nikita Sharma from Barhan on January 30, 2024. Manav Sharma was posted in Mumbai. On February 23, he came to Agra with his wife and dropped her off at her parental home in Barhan before returning to his own house. At that time, his mother was in Delhi visiting their daughter, leaving only Manav and his father at home.
On the morning of February 24, Manav Sharma was found hanging in his home. His family rushed him to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead. On February 27, his relatives found a video on his mobile phone. The 6-minute-and-57-second video showed Manav with a noose around his neck, hanging from a fan. In the video, he was seen crying and saying, “There is a need to protect men… Please, someone talk about men. They feel very alone.” He also urged his parents not to be distressed.
After discovering the video, Manav Sharma’s father filed a complaint on the Chief Minister’s portal and sent a written complaint to the Sadar police inspector via WhatsApp. Based on this, the police registered a case against Nikita Sharma on Friday.
Father’s Allegations: Daughter-in-law Threatened to Frame the Family
In the FIR filed by Manav’s father, he accused not only his daughter-in-law Nikita Sharma but also her family members. He told the police that his son had taken Nikita to Mumbai after their wedding, but frequent fights ensued. Due to his wife’s harassment, Manav fell into depression.
On February 23, he dropped his wife off at her parental home, where her family allegedly threatened him. Nikita frequently threatened to die by suicide and falsely implicate Manav’s family. Manav feared that if she took any extreme step, his parents would also face legal consequences. He felt helpless and suffocated by the situation.
Wife’s Defense: ‘I Cut Him Down from the Noose Three Times’
After Manav’s video surfaced, Nikita Sharma released her own video statement. She claimed that Manav used to drink and harm himself. She alleged that he had attempted to hang himself three times before, and each time, she had saved him by cutting the noose.
Nikita said, “When I brought him to Agra, he happily dropped me off at my home, and later that night, he did this. He used to drink in anger, get violent, and even self-harm by cutting his hands. It is wrong to say that men are never heard. Please listen to my side too.”
She further stated, “I had informed his parents about his drinking and self-harming behavior. I told them that someone from the family should stay with us, but they responded that it was a matter between husband and wife, and no third person could interfere. They stayed for two days and then left.”
