The Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) of Shahpur, JP Guha, was given a send-off like no other, drawing large crowds eager to witness the spectacle.

Late in the evening, a ceremonial procession was taken out from the Shahpur Municipal Council office in honor of CMO JP Guha’s retirement. He and his wife were seated in a decorated horse-drawn carriage, much like a groom and bride on their wedding day.

After the retirement party, CMO JP Guha and his wife were taken on a procession through the town in their wedding-themed carriage.
