Delhi Government in Action Mode
New Delhi: The Rekha Gupta-led Delhi government is actively addressing public concerns. From health to water supply, every department is witnessing major reforms. Water Minister Parvesh Verma is personally inspecting ground-level issues and taking strict measures wherever needed. His recent visits have already led to suspensions and transfers of officials failing to meet performance expectations.
Parvesh Verma’s Strong Warning to Officials
During his visit to Trinagar, Minister Parvesh Verma issued a stern warning to Delhi Jal Board officials. He transferred an Executive Engineer and directed all officers, including Junior Engineers (JE), Assistant Engineers (AE), and Executive Engineers, to resolve issues within 10 days. He emphasized, “Step into the streets, get your feet dirty, and solve people’s problems.”
On-the-Spot Actions for Accountability
Just a day before, Verma had suspended PWD Executive Engineer Ramashish Singh in Patparganj due to negligence in infrastructure development. His actions reflect the government’s zero-tolerance policy toward inefficiency.
As Delhi’s ministers continue their on-the-ground inspections, strict actions like these signal a new era of accountability in the administration.
