The person who attacked Saif Ali Khan has been caught by the police. The police claim that the person seen in the CCTV footage and the one arrested are the same. However, the father of the arrested attacker has now given a different statement, which could add a new twist to the case.

Ruhul Amin, the father of Shariful Islam, who has been arrested by the police for allegedly attacking Saif Ali Khan, claims that the boy seen in the CCTV footage is not his son. However, he admits that the person arrested by the Mumbai Police is indeed his son. Ruhul Amin’s statement could potentially take the Saif Ali Khan case in a different direction.

The police relied on CCTV footage. Based on the CCTV footage, the police had arrested Shariful. The police stated that Shariful was identified as the attacker after a long process. However, now the attacker’s father has given a completely different statement. He is refusing to acknowledge the boy seen in the CCTV footage as his son.

Saif Ali Khan suffered multiple injuries during the attack. He underwent surgery at Lilavati Hospital. Doctors removed a sharp knife lodged in his spine. Five days after the attack, on Tuesday, Saif was discharged from the hospital. The police also visited his home to record his statement.
