Police Seals House After Grisly Murder Discovery
Meerut: A horrifying murder case has come to light where a woman, along with her lover, brutally killed her husband, chopped his body into multiple pieces, and hid it inside a plastic drum filled with cement.
As soon as the news of Saurabh Rajput’s murder spread, his family and neighbors gathered outside the house around 5:30 PM. Police sealed the premises, restricting entry even for the victim’s relatives. A forensic team and engineers were called to retrieve the body, but the cement had solidified, making it nearly impossible to extract the remains. After two hours of effort, the police took the entire sealed drum to the morgue for further procedures.

SSP Meerut’s Statement
Meerut SSP Dr. Vipin Tada confirmed that Muskan, along with her lover Sahil Shukla, murdered her husband Saurabh. They stuffed his dismembered body inside a drum and poured cement over it. Both accused have been arrested, and efforts are underway to extract the remains.
Love Marriage Turned Deadly
Saurabh Rajput (29), a merchant navy officer, married Muskan Rastogi in 2016. They have a six-year-old daughter, studying in Class 2. The couple lived in a rented house in Indiranagar, while Saurabh’s family resided separately in Brahmpuri.
In 2019, Muskan started an affair with Sahil Shukla from Shastri Ki Kothi. On March 4, Muskan allegedly drugged Saurabh’s food, and when he became unconscious, Sahil was called over. Together, they stabbed Saurabh multiple times, then dismembered his body into 10-12 pieces and placed them inside a plastic drum. They then filled it with cement and sealed it.
This shocking murder case has left the city stunned. The biggest challenge now is retrieving the remains for post-mortem and further legal action.
