ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Best Playing XI
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the Best Playing XI of the Champions Trophy 2025. Interestingly, no players from cricket giants like Pakistan, Australia, or England made it to the list. The squad features five Indian players, four from New Zealand, and two from Afghanistan. Additionally, a 12th player has also been selected, which is another Indian.

Five Indian Players in Best XI
The five Indian players in the squad are Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, and Varun Chakravarthy. Moreover, Axar Patel has been named the 12th player.
- Virat Kohli scored 218 runs in the tournament.
- Shreyas Iyer emerged as India’s top scorer with 243 runs.
- Mohammed Shami and Varun Chakravarthy took 9 wickets each, playing a crucial role in India’s victory.
Four New Zealand Players in Best XI
New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra was named as the opener, having won the Player of the Tournament and the Golden Bat Award with 263 runs and 3 wickets.
- Matt Henry claimed the Golden Ball Award, securing 10 wickets.
- Glenn Phillips and Mitchell Santner also made it to the squad, with Santner leading the team as captain.
