A video of famous singer Udit Narayan had created a huge stir on the internet some time ago. The video was from one of his live concerts, where the singer was seen kissing his female fans. After the video went viral, he faced a lot of criticism. Now, actress Kunickaa Sadanand has reacted to the kissing controversy and defended Udit Narayan.
Kunickaa Sadanand Defends Udit Narayan in Kissing Controversy, Says – “If a Laddu is Served on a Plate, Won’t You Eat It?”

Kunickaa Sadanand has defended Udit Narayan regarding his kissing controversy. She said, “If a laddu is served on your plate, won’t you eat it? Udit Narayan kissed, and that was fine, but he did it in the wrong place. He should have kissed on the cheek instead.”
In the viral video, Udit Narayan was seen kissing some female fans who had come to take selfies with him—some on the cheek and some on the lips.
Kunickaa Sadanand further stated that “This is an old video, probably two years old. I am not blaming anyone. But now the girl has also come forward, so why is all the responsibility being put on the man? Why are people questioning Udit Narayan for kissing? If a laddu is placed on your plate, won’t you eat it? It’s not fair to target him just because he is Udit Narayan.”
“The Girl Shouldn’t Have Come Forward”
She added, “During stage shows, emotions are different. You are excited, the audience is showering love and respect, and you experience a different kind of joy. In those joyful moments, sometimes you perform dance steps that you wouldn’t normally think of. I know women will troll me for this, but why blame only the man? Look at what the women were doing too.”
According to her, “At that moment, many people were praising him. The girl came forward, and he kissed her. She shouldn’t have come, and she didn’t even object. Some people say this video was released by his opponents because he was about to receive the Padma Bhushan award.”
