Now, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the names of the match officials, including the on-field umpires, third umpire, and match referee.

On-Field Umpires
For the final match scheduled on March 9, Paul Reiffel and Richard Illingworth have been appointed as on-field umpires. Both are members of the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires and have previously officiated in the tournament’s semifinal matches.
Richard Illingworth was the on-field umpire in the India vs. Australia semifinal, while
Paul Reiffel officiated the New Zealand vs. South Africa semifinal.
Illingworth has won the ICC Umpire of the Year award four times and has also officiated in the finals of the 2023 ODI World Cup and the 2024 T20 World Cup.
He was also the umpire for the India vs. New Zealand group-stage match in this tournament.
Third Umpire and Fourth Umpire
Joel Wilson has been appointed as the third umpire for the final.
Kumar Dharmasena will take on the role of the fourth umpire.
Both officials are also part of the ICC Elite Panel and had key officiating roles in the second semifinal, where Dharmasena was an on-field umpire and Wilson was the third umpire.
Match Referee
Ranjan Madugalle has been appointed as the match referee.
He is the most experienced member of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees.
Team Performances So Far
Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, Team India has remained undefeated in the tournament, securing victories against Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand in the league stage, and defeating Australia in the semifinal.
