Betul, MP: A tragic incident unfolded on the Itarsi-Betul railway line, where the body of a 28-year-old man from Chhattisgarh was discovered. The deceased has been identified as Anil Kumar, a resident of Sitamarhi, Korba.

According to Railway Police, they received information about a body lying on the tracks late on Saturday night. The remains were recovered and sent to Chhodadongri CHC for post-mortem. The body was found near kilometer marker 831/20.

The victim was wearing jeans, and the condition of his shoes indicated he had been dragged for a long distance. His head was severed, suggesting he was hit by a moving train. During the initial investigation, officials contacted his sister, who confirmed that Anil was returning from Bhopal.

Authorities suspect that he may have fallen from a moving train near Dharakhoh. However, police are investigating the case and have informed his family members.
