The Trend of Re-Releasing Films is Growing in Bollywood
Bollywood has started a trend of re-releasing films in theaters. This strategy gained traction after Sanam Teri Kasam, which originally earned ₹8 crore at the box office in 2016, managed to collect ₹34.15 crore when it was re-released in 2025. Encouraged by this success, filmmakers are now bringing back Rajkummar Rao and Abhay Deol’s films to the big screen.

Rajkummar Rao
Rajkummar Rao’s 2017 film Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana is set to hit theaters again on March 7. The film, which also stars Kriti Kharbanda, was made on a budget of ₹13 crore and earned ₹17 crore worldwide at the box office in 2017.
