According to Sacnilk.com, more than 2,32,746 tickets have been sold for the opening day of Chhawa, which will be screened across 8,090 shows in India. It is expected that the film could earn ₹6.74 crore on its opening day, and with block seats included, it could make ₹8.42 crore. It is being speculated that Chhawa might even outperform Vicky Kaushal’s previous film Bad News, which earned ₹8.3 crore on its opening day.
Opening Day Earnings of Films Released This Year Among the films released this year, Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force made ₹12.25 crore on its opening day. Shahid Kapoor’s Deva earned ₹5.5 crore, while Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency made ₹2.5 crore on its opening day in India.
When Will Vicky Kaushal’s Film Release? In Chhawa, Vicky Kaushal will play the role of the Maratha emperor Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, while Akshaye Khanna will portray the character of Aurangzeb. The film is directed by Lakshman Utekar. Along with Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, the film also stars Ashutosh Rana and Divya Dutta. To prepare for the role, Vicky Kaushal gained 25 kg and trained in sword fighting, horse riding, and combat. The film is set to release on February 14.
