The Full Story:
Elvish Yadav and Rajat Dalal made a comment about Chum Darang during the podcast. In a viral video clip, Elvish says, “Bro, this Karan Veer guy definitely had COVID. Because who likes to kiss, and how bad must the taste be? Also, the name ‘Chum’ has a vulgar connotation. His name is Chum, and his work is like Gangu Bai.” However, the podcast channel later removed this part, but by the time it was deleted, the clip had already gone viral.
Rajat’s Clarification:
In a video, Rajat Dalal clarified the situation regarding the Chum Darang comment. He explained, “What you saw during the roast was scripted. We were given a script with specific lines we had to say to create hype. Elvish himself said that some parts would be used to generate attention. We didn’t know they would end up using that specific part. We trusted them, and now there’s nothing we can do. Elvish didn’t do anything off the cuff either. The words that came to us were fed through an earpiece. Our faces were shown, but the words were not ours. Now that it’s happened, there’s nothing more to be said.”
