Vicky Kaushal’s highly anticipated film Chhava is set to release in theaters on February 14. The film’s trailer created a huge buzz, and the star cast is fully invested in promoting it. This period drama film has generated a lot of excitement, but the big question is whether it will be able to live up to the high expectations at the box office. According to a report by Pinkvilla, Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s film is expected to earn between 17 to 19 crores on its opening day. While Chhava is releasing on Valentine’s Day, other films have also hit theaters, but they haven’t received much positive response.
For example, Himesh Reshammiya’s Badass Ravikumar earned just 2.75 crores on its opening day, while Lavyapa made only 1.25 crores. On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya’s film Thandel has had a somewhat better start, with an opening day collection of around 10 crores. Additionally, Chhava will face competition from other films that are already running in theaters, but how tough will that competition be? The earnings figures will tell us the full story.
Sky Force and Deva Collections: Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force made just 85 lakh rupees on its first Friday, indicating it doesn’t have much momentum left. Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor’s Deva received a cold reception from the beginning, with the film’s Friday earnings at just 80 lakh rupees, bringing its total box office collection to 29.2 crores. As for Sky Force, its total earnings at the Indian box office so far stand at 106.4 crores.
