Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of ₹6,000 per year to the country’s poor farmers. The Government of India is running the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme to provide financial assistance to millions of farmers across the country. Through this scheme, the government transfers financial aid of ₹6,000 per year to the bank accounts of poor farmers. So far, a total of 18 installments have been credited to farmers’ accounts. The last installment, the 18th, was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 5. Now, farmers are eagerly waiting for the 19th installment. The announcement regarding the release date of the 19th installment of the PM-KISAN scheme has now been made.
