
Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of ₹6,000 per year to the country’s poor farmers. This amount is released in three installments each year, with each installment providing ₹2,000. The money is transferred directly to the farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The Government of India is running the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme to provide financial assistance to millions of farmers across the country. Through this scheme, the government transfers financial aid of ₹6,000 per year to the bank accounts of poor farmers. This amount is distributed in three installments each year, with ₹2,000 transferred directly to the farmers’ bank accounts in each installment via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
So far, a total of 18 installments have been credited to farmers’ accounts. The last installment, the 18th, was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 5. Now, farmers are eagerly waiting for the 19th installment. The announcement regarding the release date of the 19th installment of the PM-KISAN scheme has now been made.

After this, you need to select the option for New Farmer Registration. Then, you have to fill in your personal details. After completing this step, you need to enter your bank account-related details.
In the next step, you need to upload the soft copy of the land-related documents, fill in all the required information, and submit the form. This is how you can apply for this scheme.
