Prayagraj. Four Amrit Snans have already taken place at the Maha Kumbh, and the fifth one is approaching. However, the crowd in the city is continuously increasing. Devotees are arriving in Prayagraj by trains and their personal vehicles. If you are planning to travel by train or are arriving today, this news will be very useful to you, or else you may face difficulties after reaching the station. Due to the heavy crowd, the railway authorities have made some changes. Learn about the new arrangements to avoid any inconvenience. These changes will remain in effect until further notice.

According to the Northern Central Railway, considering the increasing number of devotees expected for the Maha Kumbh 2025, one-way movement will be implemented at Prayagraj Junction from 8:00 AM today until further notice for the safety of passengers and smooth entry/exit. This means you will enter from one side and exit from the other.
Devotees attending the upcoming Maha Kumbh will be allowed entry from the city side (Platform No. 1) and exit only from the Civil Lines side. Previously, entry and exit were allowed from both sides.
Unreserved passengers, please note :-
Unreserved passengers will be allowed entry through the designated passenger shelters. Ticket arrangements for them have been made at the passenger shelters. Unreserved tickets will be available at the counters, ATVMs, and through mobile ticketing.

Unreserved passengers will be allowed entry through gate number 5, and they will be permitted to go to the platform half an hour before the train’s arrival. Therefore, unreserved passengers are advised to check the train timing before arriving at the station; otherwise, they may have to wait outside.
