ICC has released the list of match officials for the 2025 Champions Trophy. The list includes the names of match referees and umpires. Pakistan’s Ahsan Raza and Bangladesh’s Sharafuddin Ibn-e Shahid are included in the umpire list. However, there is not a single Indian umpire in the list. Additionally, there is no Indian in the match referees’ list either.

The ICC has selected a total of 12 umpires for the Champions Trophy. Six officials from the 2017 Champions Trophy have been included. Chris Gaffney, Kumar Dharmasena, Richard Illingworth, Paul Reiffel, and Rod Tucker have all been given the opportunity, having officiated in the 2017 tournament as well.
The ICC has given the opportunity again to Sri Lanka’s legendary umpire, Kumar Dharmasena, who has officiated in several major ICC tournaments and holds a record for officiating in most One-Day Internationals. Richard Kettleborough, who has umpired in 108 men’s ODI matches, is also on the list. Pakistan’s Ahsan Raza is included, but there is no Indian umpire on the list.
The 2025 Champions Trophy will begin on February 19, with the first match between Pakistan and New Zealand. India’s first match will be against Bangladesh, scheduled for February 20 in Dubai. India will face Pakistan on February 23, and their final group match will be against New Zealand on March 2, also in Dubai.
