Anupama Written Update: February 5, 2025

In today’s episode of Anupama, starring Rupali Ganguly, a high-voltage drama unfolds between the Shah and Kothari families due to Rahi and Prem secretly meeting each other. Prem’s Moti Baa calls Anupama and informs her that Rahi and Prem spent the night together. She insists that before things go too far, they should be married. However, the phone is on speaker, and everyone in the house, including Leela and Bapuji, hears the conversation.

At this moment, Rahi, without paying attention to anyone else, tells Anupama the whole truth—that she did nothing wrong but had gone to meet Prem without informing anyone.

Anupama Gets Upset with Rahi and Prem

After listening to Rahi, Anupama gets upset. She tells Rahi that while she trusts them and believes they didn’t do anything wrong, it is also wrong to let others perceive things differently. She questions why Rahi gave people a reason to gossip. Taking advantage of the situation, Toshu and Pakhi also taunt Rahi.

As Rahi tries to explain herself, Prem arrives and apologizes to Anupama, who eventually forgives him. Later, Prem goes into the kitchen, where Radha is playing with his phone. Accidentally, she dials Prarthana’s number. Meanwhile, at Kothari Niwas, Prem’s cousin is also playing with Prarthana’s phone, and the call gets answered on speaker.

Anupama Reaches Kothari Residence with Wedding Shagun

As soon as the phone is put on speaker, Parag Kothari and his son-in-law overhear all the conversations happening in Anu Ki Rasoi. They learn that even after marriage, the Shah family will make their daughter work like a servant in the name of love. Taking advantage of this, Parag Kothari’s son-in-law fills his ears, saying that a son-in-law is treated like a king, but Prem will not receive the same respect in his in-laws’ house. Parag Kothari starts believing these words. Meanwhile, Anupama, respecting Baa and Bapuji’s wishes, reaches the Kothari residence with the wedding shagun (auspicious gift).

Anupama’s Request to Moti Baa

As Rahi and Prem’s marriage is finalized, Anupama requests Moti Baa to take care of her daughter and at least make an effort to take two steps forward if she is willing to walk a hundred steps for them. Anupama, Prem, and Rahi all know that this wedding is happening only because of Moti Baa. However, Parag Kothari is unaware of this truth and is completely unhappy with the alliance. To convince him, Moti Baa tells Parag that only Rahi can bring Prem home, and as for Rahi, they will mold her according to their ways.
