PM Modi Maha Kumbh Visit: Samajwadi Party leader IP Singh has made a controversial remark about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dip in the Sangam. He wrote on X, “Look closely… the raincoat bath is being broadcast on camera. So much fear of the cold water of the Ganga… Today is a special day. Voting is taking place in Milkipur, Ayodhya, and Delhi, which is why today’s date was chosen for the Ganga bath. Someone who claims to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu—why does he need a Kumbh bath?”

After taking a holy dip at Sangam during the Maha Kumbh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Receiving the blessings of Maa Ganga has brought immense peace and satisfaction to my heart.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen wearing a saffron-colored kurta with full sleeves and blue pajamas while taking a holy dip at the Sangam amidst Vedic chants. He was also seen chanting with a Rudraksha mala and wearing another Rudraksha garland around his neck. He performed the ritual of offering milk to the Ganga, placed garlands and flowers, and conducted the aarti. Afterward, the priests applied a sandalwood tilak on his forehead and offered him Ganga water for achaman (ritualistic sipping). Finally, the Prime Minister performed the aarti of the three rivers at the Sangam.

PM Modi wrote on X: “Had the supreme fortune of taking a holy dip at the Sangam during the Prayagraj Mahakumbh today, followed by worship and prayers. Receiving the blessings of Maa Ganga has brought immense peace and satisfaction to my heart. Prayed to her for the prosperity, health, and well-being of all fellow citizens. Har Har Gange!”
